Summer picnic 2016

We made it back in time to make it to this year's MGGA picnic.  We love going to it every year because of the wonderful people we meet!  Thank you Three Oaks Vineyards for hosting!

The Marquettes in MN vineyard #1 are growing great this summer!  I hope the weather and anything else Mother Nature throws at us will not be too bad on us!  Hope everyone is having a great summer?!

 A couple weeks later!  Start of cluster building.  

There is a freeze advisory out tonight for the 14th of May,  I hope it stays around 33 or so.  I would hate to have any frost damage

Spring 2016

This spring has been on the chilly side.  These buds are about to pop.  When the warm weather hits, they will explode!  It is an exciting time here at the farm!  

Keri and I are pulling out some old vines and poles to make room on the east side of vineyard #1.  She was a good help, until she almost lost a finger! (not really, but she thought so!)  

Winter night out!

Hello,  haven't posted in awhile, so I thought I would say hi... Not much is going on with the vineyard.  It's about 3 degrees f today.   Keri and I have been having a great winter going around sampling new beers and wines!
